Signs at the north side of the same intersection shown in the previous photo. Note the sign at the right excluding motorized vehicles. The sign in the background is incorrect-- the bike route goes both right and left. The large warning sign in the foreground is highly nonstandard. See Web page on pedestrian warning signs for more details on this issue. This sign, the mid-lane bollards and other unusual design elements in the segment between Fairchild Drive and Fitchburg Street suggest that this segment of the trail was not subject to the same design review as others.
